The Dalmatian Lord Planned a Very Important Voyage
The lord of the manor has been studying maps all evening, and his globe stands close by. This Dalmatian has bright white fur with scattered black spots, spotted ears, and warm brown eyes. His dark green velvet coat has gold embroidery, a lace cravat peeks out at the throat, and a thick brown fur collar sits on his shoulders. A candle burns softly in the left corner, and the globe glows in the dim light. The spots on his ears are perfectly placed, and his gaze is patient and curious, as if he is waiting for a favorite visitor.
Dalmatians are active, intelligent dogs, and they need a lot of daily activity. Long walks, jogging, and play sessions keep them happy, and training games help use their bright minds. Many are loyal and a bit sensitive, so they respond best to patient, positive teaching. Dalmatians are known for shedding short hairs year-round, so regular brushing helps keep the house tidy. Because they can develop certain urinary stones, fresh water is important and a vet can suggest a diet. Bored Dalmatians may get into mischief, so give them jobs to do.
Somewhere on that globe is the best park in the world. The lord has plans for it, a brisk walk and a long sniff. The fur collar is just for keeping warm while he plans. Some lords rule by command, but this one rules by wagging.
