The Tiniest Knight Sat in Full Silver Armor and Held His Post
Seated on a cushion in full silver armor, the little knight sits upright with his front paws resting on his knees. His steel-blue and tan fur peeks out at the edges of the plate, and a plum cloak with gold embroidery falls over one shoulder. His ears prick up, his dark eyes glow with serious purpose and his tiny nose is held high. Behind him, a Victorian hall with golden wallpaper, a carved wooden mantle and a heavy curtain shows soft candlelit shadows, as if the great hall is waiting for him to speak.
Yorkshire Terriers are small but fearless, with the spirited personality of a working terrier. They need early training to avoid becoming yappy or demanding, and short, upbeat sessions with treats work well. They also love routine and company, and many do not enjoy being left alone for long periods. Because Yorkies weigh only a few pounds, they can be injured by a fall from furniture, so steps or ramps help. They can be prone to dental problems, so daily brushing and regular vet checkups matter. Their fine, silky coat grows long if left alone, but many owners keep it trimmed for comfort. A harness is better than a collar for walks, protecting the delicate neck.
The knight is brave, loyal and ready to defend the castle, as long as his armor is not too heavy for the stairs.
