The Siamese Explorer Packed His Satchel and Told the Whole Crew
A feather curls from the gold-edged tricorn hat on the Siamese cat's head, and his pale blue eyes watch the viewer with a sharp, intelligent glance. His face is a smoky blue-gray mask against a cream coat, and he wears a green embroidered coat with a leather strap across the chest and a lace cravat with a gold brooch. He holds a brass telescope against his shoulder, and a leather satchel hangs at his side. A faint candle glow at the left edge gives the whole scene a sense of evening before a voyage.
Siamese cats are famous for their talkative nature, and a blue point Siamese has a pale gray-blue mask and a cool, glacial look. They tend to be very social, bonding closely with their people and following them around the house, often with a running commentary in a loud voice. They are active, intelligent and curious, and they enjoy climbing, learning tricks and playing with puzzle toys. Many do not like to be left alone, so a companion or plenty of interaction helps. Their short coat is easy to groom with weekly brushing. Because they are vocal, a sudden change in their meow or behavior is worth mentioning to your vet.
The explorer is ready to set sail, and he will be telling the entire crew about it, loudly and in detail.
