The Bichon Officer Wore the Biggest Plume and the Fluffiest Coat
Not even the largest plume in the regiment can outshine this fluff. A white Bichon Frise looks out with round black eyes and a small black nose, his curly coat puffed into a perfect cloud. A dark cavalry hat edged in gold sits at an angle, with a great fan of black and grey feathers sweeping behind it. His navy coat is embroidered with thick gold leaves and topped with a gold epaulette. A candle glows in the dim background, and the old painted surface is covered with fine cracks.
Bichon Frises are small, cheerful dogs that love to play and be near their people. Their curly white coat sheds little but needs regular brushing and professional grooming, or it can mat easily. They do best with daily walks, play, and mental games, and they may struggle if left alone for long hours. Early training and positive reinforcement work well. Dental care is especially useful for small dogs, and your vet can offer advice on diet, grooming, and routine care.
The officer is so tiny and soft that the uniform seems to be wearing him. Even so, he has the serious, determined look of a leader who is ready for anything. If the cavalry ever needs a morale boost, this fluffy officer could march straight to the front and lift every spirit in the ranks.
