Four Weimaraner Puppies Took Over the Flower Basket
A wicker basket decked with eucalyptus and tiny white flowers now holds four silver Weimaraner puppies instead of a bouquet. Two lean on the rim looking at the camera, one has tucked in with eyes half closed, and another peers out from the side with a little pink tongue showing. A sofa, a mug, and a yellow throw fill the sunny room behind them.
A flower basket is cute, but real flowers and greenery can be a hazard for dogs. Many common garden and bouquet plants are irritating or toxic when chewed, and some lilies are dangerous for cats too. If you ever want to pose a puppy with flowers, check the plant list from a reputable pet poison resource or ask your vet first, and keep the pup from nibbling. Dried or artificial stems can also be a choking risk.
Baskets themselves make good puppy hideouts, but wicker can splinter, and chewing on it is not a good idea. A padded bed is a safer long-term choice. Weimaraner puppies are known for being busy and inquisitive, so keeping tempting items out of their reach saves a lot of trouble.
Whatever is going on in the basket, these four look pleased to be sharing it, a living bouquet in shades of silver. It is a sweet picture, and a good reminder that the best flowers for a puppy are the ones in a vase out of reach.
