Three Spotted Puppies Lay Down in a Row and Fell Fast Asleep
Three spotted puppies lie in a perfect row on a thick, woolly rug, all fast asleep. The pup on the left has a brown patch around each eye and her chin pressed to the wool. The middle one is black and white, with a tiny white paw tucked in front of him. The third, on the right, wears the same brown and white pattern as the first. Warm lamplight brings out the color in their ears, and a basket of toys waits behind them.
Sheepskin rugs are cozy, but they are not always ideal for puppies. Young dogs may chew or swallow the fibers, and the wool can be hard to clean after accidents. A washable bed or blanket is often easier to maintain. If you want your puppies to have a soft spot on the floor, check regularly for chewed spots, and replace worn rugs. Your vet can suggest safe bedding materials.
Parti-colored Cocker Spaniels come in different patterns, and each puppy's markings are unique. They also tend to be affectionate and eager to please, which makes them popular family dogs. Letting a litter nap together helps them feel secure, and quiet sleeping spaces help them rest.
Their sleeping faces look so alike and so different at the same time. All three seem to be dreaming the same sweet dream.
