Two Weimaraner Puppies Claimed the Warmest Windowsill
Two silver-gray puppies are stretched along a wide windowsill, soaking up the light and the view. One is curled up with her head tucked low, the other rests beside her with her nose almost on the glass. Outside, green trees blur softly in the daylight. Below the sill sit a houseplant and a pile of folded towels. The whole scene is calm and warm, and the two seem to be in complete agreement about how to spend the afternoon.
Windowsills are popular with cats, but puppies like them too, since they are warm and offer a view. Make sure the window is closed or securely screened, because a curious puppy could slip or push through a screen and fall. Keep blinds and curtain cords out of reach as well. Weimaraners are alert dogs who enjoy watching the neighborhood, and a window perch can keep them entertained. Pair it with plenty of exercise, since a bored dog may bark at everything outside.
The view will be there tomorrow, but the sunshine seems to be best right now. These two know it.
