Three Rottweiler Puppies Tucked Themselves Into a Giant Knit Blanket
Wrapped in a thick, cream cable-knit blanket, three black and tan puppies look out with bright eyes and soft, folded ears. The one on the left rests its chin on the edge and gazes off to the side, the middle one stares at the camera, and the one on the right peeks out from behind its sibling. A wood floor, a corner of a rug, and a bit of light from a window finish the scene.
Cable-knit and chunky wool blankets are cozy, but they come with a few risks. Loose loops can snag little nails, and yarn that has been chewed and swallowed can cause a blockage. Check the blanket often, take it away if a puppy starts pulling it apart, and wash it regularly. A thick fleece or cotton blanket is a safer long-term choice.
Puppies enjoy being snug, and a blanket gives a sense of security that can help with calm and sleep. Rottweilers are loyal and tend to bond closely with their people, so a blanket that smells like family can be comforting at night. If you like, place a worn T-shirt with your scent in her bed. Large-breed puppies grow fast, so a bed that fits today will be too small before long. Ask your vet about food, exercise, and growth as she gets bigger.
For now, the three look snug and content, as warm as can be inside their woolly nest.
