Three Corgi Puppies Lean Over the Playpen Wall and Plot Something
Three red and white Corgi puppies have discovered that they can reach the top of the playpen wall, and they are very proud. The one on the left looks out sideways with a long white blaze, the middle pup has flopped forward over the rail with its chin in the air, and the one on the right grips the mesh with a pink tongue showing. Behind them a plush bear lies in a nest of blankets, and a living room with a couch and a plant waits to be explored.
A playpen is a good way to give puppies a safe place to play when nobody can watch them closely. It keeps them away from cords and shoes, and a couple of toys, a water dish, and a bed inside make it comfortable. Corgis are bright and energetic, so they will often test the walls. A tall, sturdy pen is helpful, and moving it near the family's activity keeps the pups from feeling left out.
Corgi puppies are also quick learners, which means they may figure out how to climb out sooner than you expect. Short legs are surprisingly good at scrambling. A pen that is tall enough and well anchored will keep everyone safe, and plenty of out-of-pen playtime with supervision helps burn off all that puppy energy.
The three at the top are clearly planning something. Maybe it is just a short jump down for a nap, or maybe it is the great escape. Either way, they are doing it with a tail wagging somewhere out of sight.
