Four Sable Corgi Puppies Packed Into a Crate Looking Four Ways
Four sable Corgi puppies have squeezed into a weathered wooden crate, and each one is looking in a different direction. The pup in front has its back to us and looks sideways at the wall, the two in the middle stare straight at the camera with perked ears, and the one on the right peers out with a gentle, sleepy gaze. The crate sits on a beige carpet, and warm light falls across the room.
Sable puppies often look dark and fuzzy, with tan marks above the eyes and a soft fluffy chest. Their coats get thicker as they age, and in time they will develop the fox-like colors typical of an adult Corgi. As with all Corgis, they will need regular brushing, especially when they shed, which can be quite heavy twice a year.
A wooden crate looks cute, but rough boards can have splinters and nails, so it is best to check any wooden item before a puppy plays in it. For a proper sleeping spot, a crate or bed made for dogs is a safer choice, lined with a washable blanket. Many trainers like to introduce a puppy to a crate slowly, with treats and toys, so that it becomes a calm, happy place.
The four in this crate are not worried about any of that. They are warm, they are together, and they seem very pleased with the arrangement. It is the coziest spot in the room.
