Frank and Dottie Took Their Coffee to the Porch Steps. Biscuit Took Over.
Two coffee mugs, two matching sweaters, and one Corgi who clearly believes he's the main event. Frank and Dottie sit close together on the worn wooden porch steps, cradling their mugs and smiling down at Biscuit. Dottie's silver hair is pinned up in a bun, and Frank's glasses sit low on his nose. Biscuit sits on the ground at the bottom of the steps, beaming straight at the camera with his mouth wide open, tongue showing, and ears perked high. Little succulents in white pots dot the steps, and the backyard behind them has a wooden fence and a few garden plants.
Morning routines can be good for dogs and people alike. Dogs tend to feel more secure when their days follow a predictable pattern, with regular times for meals, walks, and rest. A quiet coffee on the steps can double as an easy outdoor break for the dog. Just remember that coffee itself is not safe for pets. Caffeine can cause restlessness, a racing heart, and other problems, so keep mugs and used grounds out of reach. A leftover cup on a low step is an easy thing for a curious Corgi to investigate.
Frank and Dottie may be finishing their coffee, but Biscuit is already wide awake and ready for the day. That smile is better than any cup of joe.
