A Calf Fell Asleep Between the Paws of a Worried-Looking Pug
Two paws are wrapped around the calf, and a wrinkled Pug face rests on her shoulder. The Pug looks at the camera with a sleepy, slightly worried expression, as only a Pug can. Clover lies curled under his chin with her eyes closed and her nose pressed against his paw. A woven rug, a pile of denim and a gray sofa surround them, and warm light falls across the floor.
Pugs are known for their round faces, curled tails and clownish charm. They love to be near their people, and many are happiest when they are touching someone. Their flat faces make them prone to breathing issues and overheating, so keep them in a cool place on hot days and avoid heavy exercise in the heat. Wrinkles on the face need regular cleaning and drying to avoid skin irritation. A Pug who chooses to hug a calf is just following the instinct to keep close to his favorite companions, and a calm nap is good for him too.
The Pug looks half asleep and fully devoted. Clover sleeps soundly in the safe spot between his paws. Nobody is in a hurry, and the sun will keep them warm for a while. Even the sofa behind them seems to lean in for a closer look at such a sweet and sleepy pair.
