A Russian Blue and a Bunny Said Hello With a Gentle Nose Touch
Whiskers brush whiskers in the quietest of hellos. A blue-grey Russian Blue with bright green eyes and a plush silver coat leans toward a cream colored lop-eared bunny, and the two touch noses in the middle. The bunny's ears hang down and its dark eyes shine. A plant, a basket and a pale wall form a calm setting around them. Soft light from the window makes the cat's coat shimmer like silver, and the bunny's nose twitches in curiosity as they meet.
Russian Blues are known for being gentle, intelligent and a little shy with strangers, but devoted to their families. Their short, dense coat is a shimmering silver-blue, and they have striking green eyes. They tend to enjoy routine and quiet, and they like playing with feather toys and puzzle games. Many are also very good at learning tricks.
Noses matter when animals meet. Cats and rabbits both use scent to learn about each other, and a quiet nose touch is a polite way to say hello. If you ever introduce a cat to a rabbit, go slowly. Keep the rabbit safe in a secure space at first and let them sniff each other through a barrier before sharing the same room, always under supervision.
The two friends hold the moment, and neither pulls away. A gentle hello can be the beginning of something wonderful. First greetings can be very sweet. A quiet hello goes a long way.
