A Pomeranian Scooted Over to Make Room on the Fluffiest Bed
Fluff meets fluff on a thick white dog bed that looks like a cloud. A black Pomeranian sits upright with his tiny fox-like face turned slightly to one side, his plush coat standing out in a fuzzy dark halo. Pressed against him on the cushion, a small brown bunny named Clover sits tall, her ears slightly parted and her dark eyes calm.
The bed sits on a bare floor in a room full of everyday life: a woven basket of stuffed toys, loose towels, a leafy potted plant by the window, and a stack of cardboard boxes. The two friends take up the center of the room like a tiny royal court. The Pomeranian looks pleased to have a neighbor.
Pomeranians are tiny dogs with big personalities, descended from larger spitz-type working dogs. They are bold, lively, and often quite vocal. Their double coats need regular brushing, especially during shedding season, but they should not be shaved without advice from a groomer or vet. Pomeranians are small and delicate, so they should be handled gently, and rough play with other animals should be avoided. A dog and a rabbit of similar size can share space more safely than a very large dog, though supervision is still a good idea. A round bed gives both pets a warm, secure place to settle.
On a bed this plush, there is room for two. A little fluff, a little company, and the afternoon is simply perfect.
