A Maltese and a Bunny Went for a Sunrise Stroll Along the Fence
Soft morning light falls across the yard as a white Maltese and a small brown bunny make their daily rounds. The Maltese, with his silky white coat and a tiny tongue just poking out, turns his head as if to check on his companion. Beside him, Clover, the little brown bunny, hops along with her ears swiveled to catch every sound.
The wooden fence beside them is old and weathered, with wire mesh stretching between the posts. Beyond it grow herbs in terracotta pots, a watering can sits near a wall, and a faint haze softens everything. Tufts of clover and tiny leaves grow along the path. The pair look like two neighbors out for a morning stroll.
Maltese dogs are cheerful and playful companions, and they often love to explore with their people. Their long coats are prone to tangles, so regular grooming is a must. Because they are small, they usually do better on a harness than a collar when walking. Morning walks are a good habit for dogs of all kinds, since the air is cooler, and many dogs are most eager at that time. If your pets share a yard, check that the fence has no gaps and that garden products are stored safely out of reach. A bunny should always have a protected spot to retreat to.
They are in no hurry, and the yard is quiet. A good friend makes even the shortest walk feel like an adventure.
