The Boston Terrier Lay Down and Let the Ducklings Climb Aboard

AI imageboston terrierducklingspatience

The Boston Terrier is lying flat on the floor with his chin on the boards, and his eyes are rolled to the side as if to say, this is fine. Six fluffy yellow ducklings are perched in a neat row across his striped back, with one more waiting at the edge. A potted plant, a pair of slippers and a doorway are visible in the soft light of the room behind them.

Boston Terriers are friendly, easygoing dogs with a lot of charm. They are small and sturdy with short coats and big, round eyes. Because they have flat faces, they can overheat and have trouble breathing in hot weather, so short walks and plenty of rest are best. They are usually good-natured and patient, which makes them well suited to being a calm friend.

Ducklings like to huddle near warm, still animals, so a calm dog can look like a comfy hill. Even so, any contact between a dog and young ducklings should be closely supervised, as a startled move could harm them. Ducklings also need a proper warm spot of their own and the right food and water, and a vet can help with that.

The terrier is being very patient, and the ducklings are being very proud of their climb. It is a very small mountain with a very big heart.
