An Apricot Goldendoodle and a Lamb Share the Window Seat
The evening glow fills the window, and an apricot Goldendoodle leans against the sill with a wide-eyed, curious look. A white lamb sits next to him, head tilted toward the glass, her wool lit up at the edges. Beyond the window a garden is darkening, and a lamp glows warmly in the corner of the room. The Goldendoodle's curls look like a teddy bear, and the lamb's curls are just as soft. The two look out together like a pair of friends who have been watching the yard for hours. The lamb's pink nose leaves a small smudge on the glass.
Goldendoodles are a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, and they tend to be friendly, social and eager to learn. Their coats vary from loose waves to tight curls, and many need regular grooming to prevent mats. They can be very energetic, so daily exercise and attention matter. Windowsills fascinate lots of pets because they offer a view of the outdoors and a patch of warmth, but make sure window screens and latches are secure so no one tumbles out. Lambs are alert to movement, and a window gives a safe way to watch the world. A hand-trimmed coat can also keep a Goldendoodle comfortable in warm months.
Out there, the garden is going quiet. In here, the two friends are in no hurry to look away.
