Rain Fell on the Window, and Everyone Inside Lined Up to Watch
Rain streaks the window glass, and on the sill a row of yellow ducklings sits shoulder to shoulder, staring out at the wet world. Beside them, a black and white Husky pokes his long nose into the frame, his sharp ears pricked forward. The sky outside is gray and the trees are blurred, which makes the warm, dry room feel even cozier. The glass is cool and fogged at the edges, and a gray towel lies draped over the back of the chair nearby.
A rainy day is a good day for gentle indoor activities. Huskies have so much energy that they can get restless when stuck inside, so puzzle toys, short training games, and a good indoor routine help keep them calm. Ducklings may enjoy watching raindrops, but they should stay dry and warm unless they are old enough and well feathered. Keeping a window sill safe means making sure it's wide, stable, and not near a cold draft. A cozy blanket and a quiet corner are enough for most dogs to settle on a rainy day.
The ducklings look curious and a little serious, as if they're studying the weather. The Husky seems to share the same thoughts. All of them are watching the same patch of gray sky.
Some of the best quiet moments happen when everyone is stuck inside together. A little rain, a warm sill, and a few good friends is all it takes.
