A Tiny Chihuahua Shared His Fluffy Bed With a Lamb Twice His Size

AI imagechihuahualambdog bed

The fluffy dog bed is round, white and shaggy, and the two inhabitants fit together like pieces of a puzzle. A little black-and-tan Chihuahua lies with his big, expressive eyes turned toward the lamb, and the lamb returns the look from just inches away. The room behind them is bright, with a woven basket, a plant and a kitchen chair visible. The two noses almost touch, and neither seems in a hurry to move.

Chihuahuas are the smallest dog breed and are known for their big personalities and loyalty. They are often attached to a single person and can be wary of strangers, but many make lovely friends with the right introduction. Because they are tiny, they can get cold easily, which is why they love warm, soft beds. Chihuahuas can be injured by even gentle play with larger animals, so supervise carefully. A lamb is much larger than a Chihuahua, even a young one, and it may be playful in a way that could harm a small dog. Allow plenty of space and calm, short visits, and make sure each animal has a place to retreat. If in doubt, your vet can help you find safe ways to socialize pets. Supervised, short visits are the safest way to begin any friendship.

One bed, two roommates and no complaints. The Chihuahua has found someone to share his warmth with.
