A Hairless Sphynx Kitten Became the Cutest Elf at the North Pole
Enormous ears, big amber eyes and a little green elf hat tilted just so: this grey Sphynx kitten looks like she was made for the North Pole. She sits on a soft grey knit blanket in a living room, wearing a green felt tunic trimmed in red, with her wrinkled, velvety skin visible and her gaze angled upward. A glowing tree, a wooden table and pine sprigs sit behind her.
Sphynx cats have little or no fur, so they feel the cold more easily than most cats and often like to snuggle in warm blankets. They also need regular skin care, because natural oils that would normally be absorbed by fur can build up on the skin, so ask your vet about bathing and sun protection. Sphynx cats are typically very social, energetic and affectionate. A soft garment like this can help keep a hairless kitten warm, but it should be loose and comfortable, and removed if she seems unhappy.
We'll call her Jingle. She looks up with the bright curiosity of a kitten who is not sure what the fuss is about but is willing to play along. The elf outfit suits her perfectly, and so does the cozy blanket she's sitting on. Costume or no costume, a Sphynx kitten has a way of winning hearts with those huge ears and that bright, curious gaze, and she knows it perfectly well.
