The Star Went on Top of the Tree, and a Puppy Got the Best View
Held up in a pair of strong arms, a black and tan Rottweiler puppy stretches its neck and looks upward at a wooden star on top of the tree. Its front paws dangle, its long ears flop, and its eyes follow the star with total focus. The tree is dotted with pinecones, wooden ornaments, and tiny golden lights. In the background, a cozy living room has a couch, a plant, a basket of toys, and torn wrapping paper scattered by a box.
Rottweiler puppies grow into big, sturdy dogs, and it is useful to practice gentle handling while they are small. When lifting a young puppy, support the chest and the rump so its back is not strained, and avoid lifting it by the front legs. Large breeds grow quickly, so ask your vet about the best way to feed and exercise a growing Rottie. Early training, calm routines, and positive reinforcement help these confident dogs become well-mannered adults who are devoted to their families.
We will name this serious young admirer Moose. He does not wiggle or squirm, just studies the star as if it contains a great secret. Many dogs seem to enjoy being up high, closer to the action, and this puppy has the best view in the house. Even a tree topper looks better with a dog watching it.
