A Calico Kitten Wore a Skeleton Sweater and Took the Doormat

AI imagecalico kittenhalloweenskeleton sweater

A calico kitten sits right in the middle of the doormat in a black sweater printed with white bones, looking up with bright, curious eyes. The front door is slightly open, and coats, a tote bag, and a basket of decorations make the entryway cozy and cluttered. Orange pumpkins sit by the wall, and a wreath of autumn leaves hangs on the dark blue door behind her.

Calico cats show off a patchwork of white, black, and orange, and nearly all of them are female. Beyond the coat, they are as individual as any other cat. Many owners describe calicos as feisty and full of character, and this kitten has a bold, alert look that fits the description. Small sweaters can be fun, but make sure the fabric doesn't pull on her fur or restrict her walking.

Entryways deserve a little attention on Halloween. Visitors open and close the door often, and kittens may dash outside before anyone notices. It's smart to keep her in a separate room, or behind a baby gate, while guests are arriving. Make sure she has a microchip and a collar with ID, just in case. In the meantime, this little skeleton looks happy and warm, with her bones glowing and her paws neatly planted on the mat. Her tail flicks once, and the little bones on her sweater seem to jump. She looks like she has everything under control.
