A Talkative Siamese Cat Turned the Mail Into a Paper Mountain

Blue eyes shine from a cream and gray face as a blue point Siamese sits happily on a mountain of shredded mail. Envelopes, letters, and scraps of paper cover the cushions and floor, a mug sits on a shelf, and keys and a notebook are half buried in the pile. Her little mouth is slightly open in what looks like a tiny smile, and her paws rest neatly in front of her. She is clearly proud of her paperwork.

Siamese cats are famous for being talkative, clever, and devoted to their people. They often follow their owners around and will happily tell them all about their day in a loud voice. Because they are intelligent, they need a lot of mental stimulation, including puzzle toys, climbing trees, and games, otherwise they may invent their own entertainment, like shredding the mail. Paper is mostly harmless to chew, but important documents and envelopes with glue are better kept out of reach, and if your cat swallows a lot, call your vet. A mail basket on a high shelf can protect your bills.

She appears to have delivered the post in her own way. All of those letters were probably not very important anyway. At least, that is what she wants everyone to believe. Now she is waiting to see who will read the next letter, or what is left of it.
