A Maine Coon Pretended Not to Notice the Toilet Paper Waterfall
Long streamers of toilet paper hang from the roll and spill across the bathroom floor in white waves, and a red Maine Coon sits among them looking carefully away. His copper fur glows, his ears are tufted, and his tail curls beside him. A white sink with a towel, a soap dispenser, and a toilet sit in the background, and shreds of paper cover the tile. He seems to hope the whole thing might be someone else's idea.
Maine Coons are one of the largest cat breeds, and they are known for their gentle and friendly nature. Many are playful all their lives, and they enjoy games like chasing and batting. A swinging roll of toilet paper is a perfect toy. A cover for the roll or a closed bathroom door can protect the supplies, and a cardboard tube or a ball toy can give him a better target. Small bits of paper are usually harmless, but if he swallows a lot, talk to your vet. Giving him a few interactive toys each day can help him burn off all that energy.
His casual look is almost convincing. The bathroom will need a fresh start, and the toilet paper is gone for good. But the cat looks perfectly happy, and he does not seem to notice the mess at all.
