A Snow Bengal Sits Quietly in a Flurry of Pillow Feathers
Feathers float in the air around her like snowflakes, and in the middle of the storm sits a pale snow Bengal with a soft, innocent look. She sits on the remains of a white pillow, her pale blue eyes lifted, her ears slightly back, and her cream-and-brown stripes catching the sunlight.
The room behind her is warm and full of clutter, with a plant by the window, a gray sofa with a cream blanket, a table with papers, and a wooden floor scattered with feathers and bits of fabric. Everything seems to hang in the air for a moment.
Bengals are known for being athletic, curious, and very smart, and they often need a lot of play. Kicking and clawing a pillow is exactly the kind of activity a hunting cat enjoys. Feathers and stuffing are not safe to swallow, so clean up carefully, and call your vet if she eats any. Give her toys she can bite and kick, such as a stuffed toy made for cats, and rotate toys to keep things interesting. A tall cat tree and daily play sessions can help use up her energy, and a puzzle feeder gives her something to think about.
She looks as calm as a cat in a snow globe. The pillow may be gone, but she still has the best seat in the house.
