The Lady in Waiting Hides Behind Her Fan with Bright Eyes
Pink lace framed her face, and a fan is ready for any juicy gossip. The Boston Terrier lady in waiting looks out with big, round, dark eyes, her black and white face wearing a tilted, sweet expression. A frilly pink lace cap with a bow sits on her head, with a ruffled lace collar at her neck. Her pale pink gown is dotted with bows and gold embroidery, and a pearl necklace hangs on her chest. In one gloved paw, she holds a folded fan, its panels painted with soft flowers.
The mixture of tuxedo markings and pastel lace is delightful. Her upright ears poke out from under the cap, which gives her an alert and curious look, as if she has just caught the first whisper of tomorrow's news. The pearls and the pink bows add a sweet, party-ready sparkle.
Boston Terriers are friendly, bright dogs often called the American Gentleman, thanks to their tuxedo-like coat. They are usually affectionate, playful and quick to learn, and they get along well with families. Because of their short muzzles, they can overheat easily, so keep them cool and avoid hard exercise in hot weather. Their large eyes can be prone to irritation, so ask your vet about eye care. Short walks, puzzle toys and plenty of cuddle time suit them well.
The lady in waiting is ready to hear every secret, though she keeps them all behind her fan.
