The Royal Chef Wears a Tall White Hat and Approves of the Soup

AI imageblack labradorroyal chefchef hat

Under a towering white hat, the chef has found something he approves of. The black Labrador has a smooth, glossy face, soft brown eyes and drooping ears, and he looks out with calm, serious focus. His dark green velvet coat is closed with gold buttons and has a high gold-edged collar, with a bright white cravat at the throat. Behind him, pale draped linen and a soft, hazy column set a simple, elegant kitchen-like stage.

The white of the hat is the brightest thing in the painting, and it makes his dark coat look even deeper. His expression is that of a cook who has just tasted the soup and approves, and wishes to do so again.

Labrador Retrievers are friendly, outgoing and eager to please, which is why they are among the most popular family dogs. They love food, and many will do anything for a treat, so portion control is important to keep them at a healthy weight. They need daily exercise such as walks, swimming and fetch. Labs shed regularly, so brushing helps. Keep chocolate, grapes, onions and sugar-free sweeteners well away from them, since they can be harmful. Your vet can recommend the right diet for your dog.

The soup will taste wonderful, and the chef will make sure of it, one very careful sniff at a time.
