The Snow Bengal Knight Was Ready for the Dragon. Mostly.

Silver armor gleams across the knight's chest and shoulders, engraved with swirling flourishes and trimmed in gold. Over it hangs a deep maroon cloak edged in white ermine, fastened with a golden clasp. Above all this sits the calm, pale face of a snow Bengal, her cream coat dappled with soft brown stripes and spots, her eyes a clear icy blue. Whiskers fan out against the dark curtain behind her. She looks ready for a long quest, though she would surely like to be home before supper and a nap in a sunbeam.

Snow Bengals are a pale variety of the Bengal breed, which was developed from domestic cats and a small wild cat species generations ago. Today's Bengals are fully domestic, but they tend to be athletic, curious, and very smart. Many love to climb, chase toys, and even play in water. Without enough activity they can get bored and mischievous, so tall cat trees, puzzle feeders, and daily play sessions are a good idea. They often enjoy learning tricks or walking on a harness. Talk to your vet about nutrition and exercise to keep an active cat in good shape.

The cloak and armor look heavy, but the knight wears them lightly, with the poise of a cat who has leapt onto many a high shelf. Any dragons in the neighborhood had best behave themselves, and any mice in the castle should too.
