Three Puppies Walked Into a Pumpkin Patch and Looked Right at Home

AI imagetricolor cavalierpuppiespumpkin patch

Orange pumpkins lie scattered across the dried vines, and three tricolor puppies have settled among them. The one in the middle looks straight ahead with its mouth slightly open, as if about to say something important. The others sit at its sides with ears hanging low and white paws resting on the pumpkins. It is a perfect little autumn portrait.

Pumpkin season is fun, but a few safety points are worth knowing. Plain pumpkin flesh is generally considered fine for dogs in small amounts, but carved pumpkins left outside can grow mold, and candles inside them are a fire risk and a hazard for wagging tails. Keep puppies away from decorations they could chew, and check with your vet before sharing seasonal treats.

If you visit a real patch with a dog, watch for slippery vines, rotting fruit, and rough ground, which can hurt small paws. Bring water, and keep a leash on, since farms often have other animals and unfamiliar sounds. Cavaliers are sociable and usually friendly, but young puppies need time to adjust to new places, so keep the outing short and calm.

These three seem right at home among the squash. They are not worried about carving or candy, only about who has the best seat. In autumn, that may be the only question that counts, and so far the answer looks like all of them.
