Three Black-and-White Faces Peeked Out of One Cozy Blanket
Tucked inside a cream woven blanket, three black-and-white puppies peek out with sweet, curious faces. Their coats are mostly black with white blazes and tidy white paws, and one pup on the right has a nose dusted in white as though dipped in flour. Wooden toys and a basket of laundry wait in the background, but the trio has no interest in anything beyond the blanket.
Puppies need warmth, and a soft blanket gives them a sense of security. Young pups cannot regulate their body temperature as well as adult dogs, so a cozy spot away from drafts matters. As the puppies grow, they will rely less on the blanket, but many dogs keep a lifelong love of snuggling into something soft.
Havanese puppies in a group can be a lively bunch, so a few safety points help. Make sure blankets have no loose threads, and check them regularly for holes. Keep an eye on teething pups who may chew the fabric, and offer safe chew toys as an alternative. Also remember that silky coats can mat if a puppy sleeps on a rough or damp surface, so keep bedding clean and dry.
