Three Bernese Puppies Squeezed Into One Big Flower Pot
Three Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are crammed into a big terracotta flower pot, with only their fluffy heads and chests showing above the rim. The middle pup looks straight ahead with large, serious eyes, while the others lean in from each side. A little soil clings to the bottom of the pot, and a laundry basket and a pair of slippers appear in the room behind them.
Flower pots, like boxes and baskets, give puppies a snug spot with walls to lean on. Many dogs love enclosed spaces because they feel safe and secure. A real flower pot, though, can have soil, fertilizer, and plants that are harmful if eaten. Keep your puppy away from houseplants and garden containers, and call your vet if your pup has chewed a plant or eaten potting soil.
These puppies will not fit in a pot for long. Bernese Mountain Dogs are a large breed, and they gain size and weight steadily during their first year. Large-breed puppies need a diet meant for them and careful, moderate exercise to protect growing joints. Regular vet visits help keep their development on track.
For now, the pot is cozy and the three are perfectly content. It is the cutest planter anyone has ever had in the house. If the pot ever does get planted, it will have a hard time competing with this arrangement.
