A Saint Bernard Puppy Waited by the Boots for Somebody to Come Home

With his front paws resting on a red rain boot, a Saint Bernard puppy peers around the entryway as though he is waiting for the family to come home. Boots and shoes are a favorite for puppies, who love their smell and their chewy texture. Saint Bernards were bred as rescue dogs, and many are known for being loyal and alert to people. A pup like this one will often wait by the door and greet everyone who arrives. That friendly attitude is wonderful, but a dog this big needs to learn not to jump up, so start teaching polite greetings while he is still small.
