The Fluffy Dog Bed Was Built for One but Held a Puppy and a Pony
The dog bed is the size of a small cloud, and two friends have squeezed on together. A tiny tan and white Havanese puppy sits at the left with his silky ears hanging and his dark eyes turned toward the camera. Beside him, Pepper the shaggy pony has folded himself into a neat bundle on the plush bed, his brown muzzle just touching the puppy's head.
Behind them, bare wooden floorboards stretch away to a doorway, and a leafy plant sits near a couch with a pair of jeans draped over the arm. A basket holds a gray blanket and a pair of slippers lie by the wall. Everything about the room feels sunny and slow.
Havanese puppies are cheerful, social little dogs who love company. They have soft, silky coats that need brushing, and they are known for being easy to train because they like to please. A comfy bed is helpful for all dogs, but each one should have his own safe spot to retreat to. When a puppy shares space with a larger animal like a pony, supervision is important, since even a gentle shift can be risky for a very small dog. Ponies need room and fresh air, so indoor visits should be brief. Ask your vet if you are unsure about how to keep animals of different sizes safe together.
The bed is crowded, but nobody is complaining. In the softest spots, sharing seems to make everything better.
