A Basket of Warm Towels, a Sleepy Frenchie, and One Tiny Surprise

The towels are fresh and warm, and the basket has become a bed. A cream French Bulldog is curled up in a round, sleepy ball with his big ears flopped back, and nestled against his chest is a small brown bunny whose ears are tucked flat. Soft, bunched towels surround them both, and a washing machine and a stray bag of laundry are visible in the sunny background.

French Bulldogs are small, mellow dogs who love to snuggle, and many of them are happy to nap for hours. Their flat faces mean they can have trouble in warm rooms, so a cool spot is important. If your Frenchie is snoring or breathing hard, move him to a cooler place and talk to your vet about weight and airway health.

Rabbits are quiet animals who tend to nap in soft, secure places, and a basket is a fine choice. If a pet rabbit is out for time with a dog, it should always be supervised, and the dog should be calm and gentle. Make sure there is a safe place for the rabbit to retreat to, and keep any dryer sheets, lint and detergent out of reach of both animals.

A warm basket, a soft towel and a snoring friend are very hard to beat. Pip looks like she plans to stay until the laundry is dry.
