A Shih Tzu Rested Under the Apple Tree With a Very Long Duckling Line
Under the apple tree, the grass is cool and green, and a brindle Shih Tzu lies on the ground with his tousled face turned toward the camera. Beside him, a long line of fluffy yellow ducklings rests along the edge of the lawn, from the closest one to a tiny speck in the distance. Pots of flowers, a fence and the side of a house sit behind them in the soft light.
Shih Tzus are small, friendly dogs with a long, flowing coat and a sweet face. They were bred as companions and love being near their people. Their coat needs regular brushing and trimming, and they can overheat in warm weather, so shade and water are important. They are happy with a gentle walk and lots of cuddles.
Shade is important for ducklings, since they can overheat quickly in the sun. They also need clean water, the right food and a safe place to rest. Fallen apples can attract wasps and may ferment, so it is best to keep the ground clear. Dogs and ducklings should be supervised together, and a vet or poultry expert can help.
The Shih Tzu looks very relaxed, and the ducklings look very sleepy. The shade of the apple tree is a lovely spot for a long afternoon. Sleepy afternoons under a fruit tree are hard to beat. The leaves rustle above, and the little line stretches out in the grass, one fluffy duckling after another.
