Two Passengers, One Wheelbarrow, and Nobody Complaining
A Dalmatian sits upright in an old metal wheelbarrow like a passenger waiting for the ride to begin. A white lamb has tucked herself right beside him, sitting on a bed of straw with her front legs folded neatly. The dog's black spots are scattered across his white coat like ink drops, and his ears are soft and relaxed. Behind them, a doorway shows shoes, a basket and a towel on a hook. Cotton looks calm, and the Dalmatian wears the quiet pride of someone with a very important job. The lamb's wool is a few shades warmer than his white coat, and a bit of straw sticks to her side.
Dalmatians are athletic, high-energy dogs once known for running alongside carriages, and they still love to move. They are intelligent and loyal, but they need lots of daily exercise and training to stay happy. They are also born without spots; the spots appear as puppies grow. A dog and a lamb in the same room should always be supervised, especially when a dog is excited, because a small bump can feel big to a lamb. Straw makes a comfortable bed for many farm animals, though dusty bedding can bother some dogs, so a vet can advise if sneezing is frequent. Many Dalmatians are also prone to certain health conditions, so regular vet visits are worth it.
The wheelbarrow isn't going anywhere, but the two of them look completely content to sit and wait. A good wheelbarrow is hard to find, and this one is clearly in use.
