A Careful Cocker Spaniel Gave a Little Bunny a Ride Across the Yard

A parti-color Cocker Spaniel in a snug brown jacket trots across the yard with a small brown bunny perched on top of her back. The bunny's one ear flops to the side and the other stands up, and she balances with the confidence of an experienced rider. The Spaniel's long, wavy ears sway as she walks, and her face has a calm, patient look. Behind them a porch, a watering can, and a coat hanging on a post make a homey backdrop.

Cocker Spaniels are gentle, friendly sporting dogs known for their soft expressions and eagerness to please. They often do well with other pets when properly socialized. Their long ears need regular checks and cleaning to prevent infections, especially when they spend time outdoors. A bunny riding on a dog is a cute scene, but it is best treated as a short, supervised moment rather than a regular ride, since a fall could hurt a small animal. Keep rabbits close to the ground when outdoors, and always make sure the dog is calm and under control so nobody gets startled.

The Spaniel carries herself as though she knows she has precious cargo. Every step is smooth and careful. The bunny seems to be enjoying the view from above, surveying the yard like a tiny captain on a very furry ship. Some friendships really do give you a lift.
