Somebody Folded the Towels and Two Friends Moved Right Into the Basket
Someone folded the laundry into a wicker basket, and two friends have decided it makes the perfect bed. A silver-grey Weimaraner puppy peers out from the left, his pale eyes serious and his long ears folded, and a shaggy golden pony rests her chin on the towels beside him. The towels are soft and puffy, and a bit of morning light pours through the window behind the basket. There is a pile of clothes on the floor and a white laundry hamper in the background.
Weimaraner puppies are sleek, clever and active, with unusual pale eyes and a love of being close to their people. They are often called velcro dogs because of how closely they follow their families. They need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation as they grow, or they can get mischievous. Warm towels are a classic cozy trick for resting pets, but be sure they are not too hot, and keep an eye on small ones that like to chew fabric. Swallowed fabric can be a serious problem, so talk to your vet if your puppy likes to eat towels. Ponies are better suited to open spaces than baskets, but the idea of two buddies sharing a warm spot is hard to resist. Comfort and trust go together.
The towels are warm, the room is still and the two of them look entirely content. Fresh laundry rarely gets this kind of welcome.
