The Smallest Ghost in the House Had Whiskers and a Suspicious Look
Two small holes and a lot of white fabric make a very confused ghost. An orange tabby cat sits on the carpet with a white sheet draped over his head, his green eyes looking out from the eye holes and his whiskers pressed against the cloth. His expression is as serious as any ghost's, though a bit more suspicious. A pair of shoes sits in the hallway behind him, and the beige walls make the white sheet stand out.
A sheet over a cat's head is a classic costume, but it should be done with care. The fabric can restrict vision and cause a cat to panic, and sheets can be hazardous if a cat gets tangled or walks into something. Keep the session very short, stay beside him and remove the sheet as soon as he seems upset. Never leave a costumed cat unattended. Many orange tabbies are known for being relaxed and social, but each cat has his own tolerance. A treat afterward makes the experience more pleasant, and some cats do better with just a festive bandana or no costume at all.
If this ghost haunts anything, it will be the treat jar. The sheet will be off soon, and the cat will return to his usual self, but for now he is the most polite spirit anyone has ever seen.
