A French Bulldog Named Domino Stands in a Milk Puddle
Milk has spread across the wooden floor in a wide white pool, and the black and white Frenchie is standing right in the middle of it with all four paws wet. His big bat ears are pointed straight up and his dark eyes are turned toward the camera with a very guilty look. A bag and a basket of yarn sit behind him, and the room has the cheerful clutter of a house that has not had much cleaning today.
French Bulldogs are small, sturdy, affectionate dogs with a playful, clownish streak, and they tend to attach themselves to their favorite person. They are a flat-faced breed, so they can overheat or have trouble breathing in hot or humid weather, and they usually do better with gentle walks than with intense exercise. Many dogs are also somewhat lactose intolerant, so a lot of milk can give them an upset stomach, even if they love the taste. Plain water is the best drink for a dog, and if your pet seems unwell after something like this, talk to your vet. Wet paws on a wood floor can be slippery, so wiping the floor quickly helps everyone stay safe.
He seems to have decided that standing very still is the best strategy. We will call him Domino. The towel is already on its way, and he will probably enjoy the wipe-down more than he lets on.
