A Cream Pomeranian Made It Snow Indoors With One Pillow
Feathers drift through the air like a very small snowstorm, and a cream Pomeranian sits at the center of a torn white pillow with eyes wide and ears pricked. A few feathers have landed in the fluffy fur, and others are stuck to the floor and the blanket nearby. A plant, a basket of laundry, and a thermos sit in the background, as the little dog holds perfectly still, caught mid-crime.
Pomeranians are small, lively dogs with a fluffy double coat and a bold, confident attitude. They can be surprisingly determined for their size, and a pillow is a very satisfying thing to take apart. Shredding pillows is a way for some dogs to burn off energy or release boredom, so daily walks, puzzle toys, and short training sessions help. Feathers and stuffing can irritate a dog's mouth or stomach if swallowed, so clean them up promptly, and call your vet if your dog ate some or seems uncomfortable. Pomeranians also need regular brushing, so check that coat for any stuck feathers.
The pillow won't be coming back, but the Pom is delighted with the snowstorm she created. All fluff and confidence, she sits like a tiny queen, and the only thing she needs is for the feathers to settle gracefully around her. By evening the last feather will have floated down, and a sleepy Pom will curl up on whatever pillow remains.
