The Couch Used to Have a Side. The Boston Terrier Has Opinions.
Clouds of white stuffing cover the couch and the floor, and in the middle of it all sits a brindle and white Boston Terrier with enormous round eyes. His ears point straight up, his chest is white as the fluff around him, and he stares at the camera like he has just heard his own name called. The coffee table behind him holds scattered papers and a few chewed things, and the couch has a big torn gap in its side.
Boston Terriers are lively, affectionate dogs with a tendency to get into everything, especially if they are bored or home alone. Destroying a couch is often a sign of too much energy or too little attention, rather than bad behavior. A good walk or play session before leaving, a puzzle feeder, and a safe chew toy can help. It is important to know that stuffing and foam can block a dog's digestive tract if swallowed, so contact your vet if you think your dog ate some.
We will call him Domino. His expression is that of a dog who never expected the sofa to be so soft, or so full of surprises. Somewhere in the pile is a missing cushion, and it may never be found. The good thing is that he looks perfectly healthy, and wide awake, and sitting very still just in case nobody notices the snow.
