A French Bulldog Made a Petal Carpet Out of the Whole Bouquet

AI imagefrench bulldogtulipsliving room

Red and pink tulip petals cover the floor in a soft, ruffled carpet, and in the middle sits a cream French Bulldog with huge, innocent eyes. His big bat ears are slightly tilted, his wrinkled nose is pointed up, and a few green leaves and stems are scattered around his paws. A basket of laundry, a lamp, and a pair of gray slippers are all that remain of an orderly living room.

French Bulldogs are affectionate, playful dogs who love people and can be quite stubborn when they want something. Tulips are a real concern for pet owners, because the bulbs, in particular, can be toxic to dogs and cats and may cause drooling or an upset stomach. If your dog chews on tulips, or any other unfamiliar plant, call your vet. Many common flowers are not safe for pets, so a quick check of a plant list before you buy a bouquet can save worry later.

We will call him Beignet. He seems to be at ease among the petals, like a small prince at his own flower festival. The vase is probably somewhere nearby, and the bouquet is certainly finished. Still, his face is so gentle that it is difficult to be upset, and the room smells rather lovely right now, in a slightly messy way. His tail is wagging a little behind him, and the petals tremble with every swish.
