Three Bernese Puppies Found the Prettiest Tulip Bed in the Garden

AI imagebernese mountain dogtulipsspring garden

Three Bernese Mountain Dog puppies sit in a bed of tulips, their fluffy black coats framed by pink, yellow, and orange blooms. The pup on the left has a serious, round-eyed gaze, the middle one peeks over a shoulder, and the one on the right tilts its head curiously. A wooden fence and a blue watering can sit softly in the background.

Tulips are a pretty spring sight, but they are not safe for dogs to eat. The bulbs in particular contain compounds that can cause drooling, stomach upset, and other problems if chewed or swallowed. If you plant tulips or other bulbs, keep your puppy away from the garden bed, and call your vet if you think your pet has eaten any. Daffodils, hyacinths, and many other spring bulbs are also best kept out of reach.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are known as gentle and friendly, and they love spending time outdoors with their families. Their thick coats make cool spring days comfortable. Training a puppy to stay out of flower beds is easiest with consistent cues, treats, and a fenced-off or protected garden section. A pup who knows the rules will make a calmer gardener's companion.

These three look wonderful among the flowers, each one a little different in color and in expression. Spring has rarely looked so fluffy.
