Three Saint Bernard Puppies Squeezed Into the Laundry Basket
Three red and white Saint Bernard puppies are squeezed into a wicker basket, wrapped in a soft towel, with paws and noses tangled together. One looks straight ahead with a sleepy expression, another rests its head on a friend, and the third is almost hidden in the pile. A houseplant and a window in the background add a calm, homey look.
Puppies love enclosed spaces, which makes a laundry basket a favorite hideout. The snug walls, soft fabric and family scent feel safe and comfy. But a Saint Bernard puppy will soon outgrow a basket, since these dogs can become some of the largest in the dog world. It is smart to plan for a large bed and enough space.
Keep laundry out of reach, since socks and towels are tempting chew items, and swallowed fabric can be dangerous. If a puppy ever eats something that it should not, call your vet. Giving puppies safe chew toys and a proper bed helps keep laundry day peaceful.
For now, the basket is crowded but happy. The three are a warm, fuzzy bundle, and the laundry can wait. Soon one of them will stretch, the others will wriggle and the whole basket will wobble, but for now it is a calm and comfy bundle of fuzz and warm towels. Nobody has any plans to leave the basket today.
