The Goldendoodle Looked Like She Was Hiding Something in Her Curls

AI imagegoldendoodlebunnycouch

Somewhere inside that mound of cream-colored curls is a very small, very comfortable bunny. A Goldendoodle has stretched out across the sofa with her chin on the cushion and her sleepy brown eyes half shut, and a little brown rabbit has nestled into the curve of her body with her ears laid back. Behind the couch a shelf of books, a throw blanket and a pile of toys complete a cozy living room scene.

Goldendoodles are known for being warm, social dogs, and many of them love being close to the people and animals they live with. Their curly coats look soft but need regular brushing to prevent mats, especially around the ears and legs. They are generally energetic, so a daily walk or play session helps them settle into calm naps like this one.

Rabbits are prey animals, which means that even a friendly dog can look big and scary to a bunny. Careful, slow introductions are important, with the dog on a leash at first and the rabbit given a safe place to hide. A dog that can stay calm, ignore the urge to chase and lie still is a good candidate for a gentle friendship. Talk to your vet if you are unsure.

Pip, as we might call her, has picked the safest spot in the room, right inside a warm, fluffy wall. It is hard to imagine a softer place to rest.
