Two Passengers Climbed Onto the Old Tractor Seat and Stayed Put
The old tractor seat has two new passengers who look perfectly at home. A fluffy black-and-white Shih Tzu sits upright with her head tilted and her eyes turned to the side, and pressed up against her is a small brown bunny with her ears relaxed and her paws tucked. A blue watering can, a woven basket and a tangle of garden hose are visible in the shed yard behind them.
Shih Tzus are small, sweet companion dogs, bred to sit by their people's sides, which is probably why this one looks so content. They have a long, flowing coat that needs regular brushing, and their flat faces mean they can overheat. A gentle walk and a good brush are about all the exercise and care that they need each day.
Old equipment is not a safe place for pets to play, because rusty metal, springs and loose parts can cause cuts. If you have an old tractor or mower, keep it parked and out of reach. Rabbits also need to be kept away from places where they can get stuck or injured, so a clean, safe resting place is always better.
The tractor is not going anywhere, but the two on the seat look like they are enjoying the ride anyway. Pip leans in as if the seat were a sofa, and her Shih Tzu friend looks very proud.
