A Bichon and a Bunny Curled Up Side by Side on the Farmhouse Rug
A fluffy white Bichon Frise has curled into a perfect cotton ball on a woven, patterned rug, and a small brown bunny lies stretched out beside her with her ears flattened and her head resting low. A wicker basket, a pair of boots and a few potted plants sit behind them on the floor of an old farmhouse corner. The room is quiet and slightly dusty, and the two seem to be dreaming.
Bichon Frises are cheerful, affectionate small dogs with soft, curly coats. They are known for loving people and for being playful and gentle with other pets. Their coats grow continuously and need regular brushing and trimming, and a trip to a groomer every few weeks is common. They also need daily walks and play to stay healthy.
Rugs are great for naps but need to be safe. Check that there are no loose threads that a pet could chew, and wash them regularly to keep fleas and allergens down. Rabbits love to chew fibers, so keep an eye on any pet that nibbles at a rug, since swallowed threads can cause problems.
They are both worn out, and neither is moving. Pip and her cloud-white friend have settled in for a long, peaceful rest. The rug has seen a lot of naps, and this might be its best one.
