A Shiba Inu Curled Up and Made a Warm Spot for a Whole Row of Ducklings
The Shiba has curled into a circle, and the ducklings have settled in along her belly. A red Shiba Inu with a white chest and a peaceful, sleepy face rests on a woven rug, with her eyes closed, while a neat row of yellow ducklings is tucked along her curved body. A rubber boot, a basket and a few scattered items sit on the old floor behind them.
Shiba Inus are small Japanese dogs with a fox-like look, known for being clean, independent and a little bit stubborn. They are quick and alert, and they are devoted to their families, though they can be reserved with strangers. Their thick double coat sheds heavily twice a year and needs regular brushing. They enjoy daily walks and mental games.
Ducklings love to snuggle close to a warm body, and a resting dog can be a very comfortable place for a nap. Still, a startled dog could hurt a duckling by accident, so supervision is important. Ducklings need a warm place to sleep, clean water and proper food, and a vet or poultry expert can give good advice.
Everyone is fast asleep, and the room is perfectly quiet. It is a snug, soft end to a long day. Nobody on the rug has a single worry, and the afternoon stretches out in front of them like a quiet road.
