A Cavalier Spaniel and a Lamb Tour the Vegetable Garden
Green leaves fill the foreground of the vegetable garden, and a tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel steps through with a bright, sweet expression. Dumpling the lamb is right next to him, nose down, snuffling at the greens. Raised wooden beds, a blue watering can and a fence fill the background. The spaniel's big dark eyes and white blaze are lovely against the leaves, and the lamb looks as though she is choosing her lunch. They're very pleased with the garden. A fat bee hums over a nearby bed, and the dog barely notices. The lamb takes another careful step.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are friendly and gentle, and they usually get along with other animals. They love to follow their noses, which makes a garden a wonderful place to explore. Gardens can have hazards, though: slug bait, fertilizer and certain plants are poisonous to pets, and onions and garlic are toxic to dogs. Always keep products out of reach. Lambs love to nibble greens, which can be hard on a garden and sometimes upset their stomachs, so fencing off the vegetables is wise. A supervised stroll is the best way to enjoy it. Rinse muddy paws afterward and watch for slugs or fertilizer.
The row of lettuce is in real danger, and both of them know it. The beans look worried.
